Market Update 7"45 am est
The usd/cad just had a serious upspike during this hour and that strength in the usd against the canadian is usually indicative of the same thing happening in the eur/usd. I would expect eur/usd to be falling in sympathy with dollar strength. But the eur/usd is hanging in above support right now.
If I were long Eur or gbp against the dollar I would be looking to bail out now. Not based on anything technical but just on something just doesn't feel right.
I know that most of you are hard headed and think you know but the moves int the markets yesterday were a perfect example. Again, the first directional moves of the day are usually false. ESPECIALLY WHEN VOLUME IS THIN!!!
When volume is thin we have to get you suckers into the game somehow and what better way than to make a big false move in the wrong direction to get in all the fish who thinks they are going to hit the markets for some quick holiday money and why not? You need it now more than any other time of the year. L.o.L. ...and the operators don't know that right???
So now, I will say it again, if you see a quick fast move it is most times fake. If you see a fast quick move and there is no news to back it up IT IS ALWAYS FAKE!!! When are you going to realize that you can't cheat the game.

We didn't get a fill on our order by 9:00 am est. That means we are not in a trade right...!?
Now, why did I say execution by 9:00? Because the bar that opened at 7:00 and closed at 8:00 am was the signal bar for a 1hr bear pivot reversal. The very next bar after the signal bar is the reaction bar. We want to enter when the man is backing into the wall not when he is running into the wall.
The reaction bar is like backing into the wall but after the reaction bar, the man has to turn around and face the wall in order to run into it. Let me ask you a question....If I turn and face a wall and run into that wall don't you think I have a much greater chance to break through that wall than I would if I were backing up into it?
See, I knew you knew the right answer was of course Jerry, do you think I'm stupid...He-he, of course I dont. The point is that I want you to look at trading from that perspective. Once you know what to look for nothing else makes sense.
It's now 10:10 am as I write this. We did not back into the wall, we are turned around facing the wall and testing the wall. Just because we are facing the wall does not mean we will break through the wall it only means that we have a much greater chance than backing into the wall. There are still other things to consider of course, such as trend for instance. But right now we are in a holding pattern. We need to wait for a new signal.
Hopefully you can get a better understanding here about the difference between a trade signal and an entry signal. We had a trade signal at 8:00 am. with the bear reversal bar. However, we did not get our entry signal to go ahead and enter the trade. Now, let me ask you another question.
For you math-a-manics, how can you code that into your automatic trading robot? You can't....How do you calculate that into your mathematical backtesting model. YOU CAN'T....Seriously...How do you program the decision to enter or not to enter after a signal?
What we learn here are not just trading techniques. What I mean to say is this, If this were basketball I would not be teaching you how to shoot but, how to PLAY BASKETBALL, PLAY FOOTBALL not throw the ball.
To my people, stop running after every slick talking guy out there. You follow everything and become a jack of all trades and master of none.

WEBEX VIDEOS CHANGING SERVERS
Hello
This is a notification to let you know that the webex videos are changing servers and the switch will not be completed until sometime this weekend. I have to do this because of security reasons as my video links are floating all over the world and too many are getting for free what my students are paying for and that's not right and it's a major hassle but it will be done.
So, I am sorry for the inconvenience but it's in the best interests of my students as well as myself.
Along with the switch will be a reorganization of the video archives to allow you to access specific content more quickly. Saturday or Sunday I will post the new information on this blog.
SKYPE UPDATE: Well, it official now. For the first time I am having problems with skype and I'm sure its just a coincidence that I just made skype my new hub of operations to get away from the cyber terrorism I've been experiencing over the last 6 months.
The problem is that when I log onto skype now I never get logged in. You will see me as logged in but i won't know you're trying to contact me as all of my contacts show as offline. It's been throwing me off quite a bit but it's just now that I realized what was going on.
Therefore, if you tried to hit me on skype and I wasn't able to get back to you and you have an attitude, I am sick of that. You are either with me or you are against me. Ain't no middle ground cause I'm fighting for you and if you can't see that I agree with one of my more loyal students, " YOU ARE A SUCKER AND I'M TIRED OF FIGHTING FOR SUCKERS...GET IT. If you are pissed off that I am being persecuted for your behalf, " SEE YA, WOULDN'T WANT TO BE YOU...
My love is for all, my patience is not... I've got your back but, whose got mine? That's what I thought...I hear crickets chirping.
So, today and tomorrow I will be in fix it mode. We are so close to Christmas anyway thus I'm not keen on making trade calls when the operators have the upper hand.

TRENDWALKER 1 HR CHARTS

Many of you wrote me with great concern about the video link I placed on the blog on Monday. Oh the horror, the horror.
Now hold on just a minute. Don't think for a minute that what I teach and will continue to teach is in any way affected by the technique in the video. The key words are " A technique!
As most of my students know...I've been teaching that particular technique for 7 years. My students see your webex videos ( 1 hr home run trade ). But then again, maybe you would rather spend $5000.00 for one trading technique. You wanna learn to trade, I give you a full banana clip instead of 1 bullet for Russian roulette.
So, yes, I used Steve's video because he gets into what it is and saves me a lot of time so I can concentrate on teaching you how to trade the 1 hr home run trade. For my private students I am adding a couple of things to help you with that technique so, I want it back inside your frame of reference for what I will be talking about going forward.
Just look at the support and resistance charts I've posted today. NOW, it doesn't matter who created these levels. The fact is that all markets react in a predictable manner to these levels. The fact is, even if you know exactly where these levels are, you still have to know how to actually trade them. Analysis of a chart, and trading that analysis are two different skills.
I've included in this post some of my trendwalker charts. You see, trendwalker incorporates all of the things The guy in the "Welcome to The World of The Real", post says, don't work. Too bad cause they've been working for me for a long time and looking at my trendwalker charts they still are...
Note: Last night my Internet browsers went out and that has never happened to me before. It's only a matter of time before they start with this blog again and that is one of the main reasons you see large gaps in the dates between blog posts sometimes.
This is why I've been telling you to get skype. That's they only area where I have not yet faced harassment and for the moment it is my only safe haven of communication as my communications are systematically being dismantled by an unseen hand. I'm beyond whining about it I'm just letting you know so we can always have an option to stay in contact. Now, I can't be on skype all day because I'm doing a lot of things on my computer that conflicts with skype software.
So, yet another sleepless night figuring out how to break free instead of trading and teaching to trade...I'm already starting to have problems with the blog so I don't know how long it can last before they can get to it...

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS ENTRY

I hope you found the video interesting because there is much truth in it. However, I'm in no way promoting his methods as I do not personally know him or have a connection with him. I do agree with him on most things however, where I differ is where he feels that technical analysis tools are not worthy.
The truth is that there are traders out there who are profitable and know very little about the things this guy is talking about. See, market makers do not control the market and they do not set sup/res. Noooo...they MANIPULATE TRADER EMOTIONS AT SUP/RES. They know how you react to the news...to moving averages, to macd, etc... But that is a big difference from controlling the market. They do not control the markets...
THEY...CONTROL...YOU...
That is, they control your thinking. They turn you into sheeple by training you to rely on so called official sources for your information and the official sources always works for them and not you. So, be advised that there are many disinformation agents out there. Disinformation is a lie sandwich. A lie, sandwiched between two truths so that you swallow the lie with the truth.
I'm not saying that's what this video is about. What I'm saying is that I've been saying and preaching the same things for years and it might be helpful for you to know that I am far from the only one. It is also helpful for you to know that there are other aspects to the market other than fundamental and technical analysis.
In any field there is the outside game and the inside game. We need to balance both sides of the game.
Therefore, again understand that I am promoting no other course but mine. I've been in the game 20 years and have experience on both sides...the inside game and the outside game.
He knows the inside game very well and I, well I know them both very well. Is it because I'm so smart? Hardly, but, experience means you've lived through personally what you preach and teach...
And remember, whenever I send you information put out by someone else it means they are saying the things that I am already teaching. They are saying it in more detail which saves me time. And unlike others, I have no fear of you seeing what someone else has to offer because I am convinced that what I offer is the best. Nope, I ain't all polished up and shiny to impress. Cause if you ain't impressed by the bare simple truth, I can't impress you because you are too impressionable...

NEW SKYPE PODCASTS AND MEETING ROOMS
Hello, Yes, I know things just don’t seem to be quite right and I just can’t keep talking about it because well, I just can’t. But here is the deal. I can’t seem to keep my lines of communication going. The only time I seem to be able to get reliable and consistant communication flowing is when I was use skype. But skype had a major limitation. I could not share my computer screen with a group call as skype was not equipped to handle that.
But now skype has come out with a new 5.0 version that does most of the important things that I now get from webex. So, I am switching my primary means of communication over to skype. And there are some obvious benefits to you…
Faster access to me for answers to questions…
I can call meetings on the fly much easier…
You get my trade calls instantly along with commentaries on why a trade was executed
And other things as well, such as being shut down my ONE spam complaint.
Thus I have determined that I will give it a shot with skype as my main communication hub.

Now, that doesn’t mean I’m available for you to bug the hell out of whenever you take a notion 24/7...lol... so, we will have a schedule for specific discussions. There will be specific sessions of live trading rooms, podcasts, Q & A room, and classroom tutorial/training.
