Tired

Man I'm telling you I'm not worth a darn today.  I am thoroughly exhausted from yesterday.  I had a mountain of technical issues that kept me up till around 4:00 am this morning.  

For my 1 on 1 students and purchasers of "Laws of Charts and Men,"who are on my newsletter list and received just a few excerpts from my upcoming book LCM Unplugged, you are immediately witnessing the power and you only have a taste.  For those whom are free guests you will have to wait for the entire series of videos 1 at a time as the newsletter is issued.

I did make some progress yesterday however.  For those on the newsletter list, the trade alert email you received yesterday was just a test to make sure that all was working properly before I release the blitz of trade alerts I'm planning for next week.

If you have subscribed to my newsletter this year and you did not get a trade alert yesterday let me know.  But, don't let me know if you have not confirmed your subscription as I told you too.  If you subscribe to my free newsletter and then you haven't confirmed I classify you as an agent of the matrix as you are exposing me to spam liability. So, whether you intend to or not, you are working against me so please hit that unsubscribe button on the newsletter so I don't have to do it manually.  I've got too many enemies to mess around with you...

So, don't expect much from me today.  I'm feeling way out of order today.

Live Trading Room Canceled

Hello

Sorry to inform you that I've had to cancel the live trading room scheduled for today at 8:00 am est.  It appears that the technological grimlins are determined to haunt me.  At exactly 8:00, the time the meeting started, my computer crashed and some people who were trying to attend the meeting crashed simultaneously.

What I will do is post here on the blog every 20 to 30 minutes by video to have you follow along.

Strangely, this is the third live session in a row that we've encountered similar problems. And the problem only occurs during live meeting.  So, I don't know.  I can only do what I can do...

U.S. BANKING HOLIDAY

Hello

Today is a U.S. Banking holiday.  That means you should be sitting on your hands and studying.  With banking holidays's, it does not necessarily mean the markets won't be moving but, action is unpredictable due to lighter commercial volume.  So, today will be a day for reaction retracements of Fridays moves.  Look for markets to drift against the trends today to take out the weak hands before the real moves begin tomorrow.

TREND IS FRIEND...EGO IS ENEMY

GBPJPY (TRADE #2 ) STOPPED OUT -37 PIPS.  TOTAL PERFORMANCE YESTERDAY - 68 PIPS...

Alright, I got my arrogant ass handed to me yesterday.

Instead of entering after the Close of the signal bar I entered on the breaks while the bars were still open.  Now, why would I do such a dumb thing like breaking my own trading rules?

Now pay attention because, what I'm about to say now will be more important than all of the signals I can teach you.

I broke my own rules because I had a busy schedule and tried to cheat the game.  I had too much to do so I didn't manage the trades because, if you follow me, you know that most of the time I'm in and out before the target or stop is hit. My early exits screamed get out but hey, I'm Jerry.  I got too much to do and I havent had a losing trade in a couple of weeks...I OWN THE MARKETS!

Again the market showed me that it doesn't care when I don't have enough time...Doesn't care that I'm tired or baby needs a new pair of shoes.  Yesterday's performance was due to arrogance bread by too much success. Yep, I made some mistakes yesterday and they all had to do with personality and ego.  

Now, hopefully you can understand better when I tell you the things I tell you in the way that I do.
When it comes to experience trading I am far above most with 20 years.  But all men have the same emotions no matter the knowledge.  I'm just giving you an honest analysis of MYSELF!
The market has never ever beaten me but I many times even to this day will beat myself on certain days.

When I follow the system strictly I have strictly positive results.  When I start thinking I'm greater than the system I run into trouble.  So, for me, as always with man, I needed that slap up side the head as another reminder that, what every character flaw I have will be exposed by the markets.

This is the type of analysis I do on myself and thus, I understand you because I am you.  When I tell you I know what you're thinking, I know because I'm you... 

Now, just like you I want to get them back.  I want to hit'em where they hit me... I am pissed at myself...I want to make another trade immediately to show that I really am smart...I am emotional with all of these different angles working on my psyche...

Most times we spend time analyzing our trading system when we should be analyzing...

THE...SYSTEM...OF...SELF...

Then, I better get back to my strict rules before I get caught with my pants around my ankles again...
